What We Collect
CorrectICS processes the iCalendar (.ics) content you submit for validation. The payload is handled in
memory only for the duration of the request.
How We Use Your Data
- Run preflight, parsing, normalization, and rule checks on the supplied
.icsdata. - Return validation results and optional fixes back to you.
- Generate aggregate metrics that help us improve accuracy (e.g., counts of errors vs warnings).
Logs & Retention
We keep short-lived request logs that include a timestamp, request ID, IP hash, policy name, and outcome (success, warnings, errors). Logs are automatically pruned within 30 days and are used solely for debugging or abuse prevention.
Ordinary anonymous synchronous validation does not save the uploaded calendar as file history. Authenticated repaired downloads and large asynchronous validation or repair jobs may use temporary object storage. Guest and Free artifacts are removed after 24 hours; Light, Pro, and Developer artifacts are removed after 30 days. Active jobs remain available while legitimately processing. Account deletion removes associated stored artifacts through the same fail-safe cleanup process.
Cookies & Tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand product usage (for example: signups, validator usage, and upgrade funnels). We do not use GA for advertising or cross-site tracking. Cloudflare may place essential cookies to deliver and secure the service.
Subprocessors
- Cloudflare – hosting for the Worker API and static site delivery.
- GitHub – CI/CD and issue tracking.
Data Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We scope access to infrastructure credentials and monitor deploy history through GitHub Actions.
Your Choices
If you prefer not to send live production calendar data, you can redact fields before submission.
